New Construction

Hello everyone, it’s youth Hailey Allton. I am going to be a freshman this year and this is my second mission trip with the Geist Christian Church youth gang. Today my group of many kids worked on framing for a house, it was not easy. Many of us got the pleasure of trying out many new tools such as nail guns. We all loved getting out of our comfort zones for a day and exploring new things and meeting some amazing contractors. All three of the contractors were very nice to us and were very patient with us when we made mistakes with the tools or needed things redone. But after the fact of waking up at 6:00 am and not getting back till around 4:00 pm we had lots of fun and can’t wait for the next four days ahead of us to help and serve.
