Youth Summer Service-Learning Trip 2025
Christmount Christian Assembly
Black Mountain, North Carolina
June 28th- July 5th
We’re on the road again! This summer our youth are headed to Christmount Christian Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina! They will be assisting with repairs & clean up from Hurricane Helene that hit western North Carolina this past fall. Christmount is our denomination’s, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), national church camp. Our youth will have the opportunity to serve this special place that has been held so dearly by Disciples across the country. I am sure they will be transformed by this holy campground along the way. There is a lot of hard work & good play ahead of us. The good news is that we are taking you along for the ride! So buckle up and check back here daily June 28th- July 5th to see it all unfold.

P.s. This summer we are sending a group on an intergenerational service-learning trip to Panajachel, Guatemala! There will be a couple of our youth journeying with this group. Their stories will also be on this blog. I don’t know if we’re gonna have enough blog space for all the God sightings, laughter, lessons, stories of service, and more! Keep an eye out for all of it!
