Dear Youth and Parents,
Summer 2023 is almost here and we’ve got two great mission trip opportunity for our youth to connect and serve! Both our middle school and high school youth will be venturing into the great state of Kentucky.
Our Middle School Mission Trip will be heading to Lexington, KY
- Our trip to Lexington is in partnership with Maxwell Presbyterian Church. Not only will they be hosting our youth at the church but they will also be organizing our week of work around town. The youth will have the opportunity to experience many different types of service work while connecting with the people of Lexington. This will allow them to get a taste of how they can serve the community back in Indianapolis by finding things they are passionate about. Cost: $425
Our High School Mission Trip is going to Mayfield, KY
- Our trip to Mayfield will be in partnership with Be the Neighbor (formerly Connect Ministries), a Disciples of Christ organization and Week of Compassion, the relief, refugee and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Our youth will be participating in tornado relief work as the community continues to recover from the tornados that hit in December of 2021. This will be a labor intensive trip, so youth should be ready to work hard and play hard. Cost: $475
All participants and a parent/guardian must attend the Mission Trip Prep Meeting on Sunday, April 30th at 4:00pm at the Promise Road Campus. To reserve a spot on this year’s trips, please sign up here.
I am personally excited to connect further with our youth this summer as they explore new places and accept the invitation to serve with those that need them. These wonderful opportunities harbor so much room for grow in faith and relationship, with God, others, and self. I can’t wait to see what amazing things our youth will do this summer.
